Catalyst’s niche is planning, designing and implementing national promotions. We have managed strategic, national level promotions in the grocery deli, frozen and fresh categories with both traditional and digital components. The promotions have included out-of-store experiential marketing components to compliment in-store and online efforts. We have also developed and executed market specific heavy up campaigns. We don’t create national promotions just for the fun of it…we move the needle with results you can see.
President
Ted is the founding principal and president at Catalyst and has more than 30 years of experience in the agency world. He’s an award winning creative in his own right, has successfully launched a variety of beverage brands, and grown the bottling and distilling segment of the company from startup to seasoned distillery. Ted founded Catalyst and continues to oversee its operation.
Vice President of Account Services
Melinda is the Vice President of Account Services at Catalyst. She began her career at Catalyst and has since returned, bringing a full-circle journey of experience and leadership. Melinda drives the strategic direction for clients, leading campaigns and projects to successful outcomes. With a passion for creativity, a detail-oriented mindset, and years of experience in both creative and customer service roles, she brings energy and excellence to every initiative.
Creative Director
Jeff is Catalyst’s creative director. He comes up with the concepts and designs for our clients and wins some awards along the way, including a Silver Regional Sixth District Addy, a Gold Sixth District Addy, and even a National Gold Addy. Jeff designs everything from brands to websites and anything in between.
Accounting Director
Robin is Catalyst’s accounting director. She keeps everything in balance and on time. She knows all of our clients and vendors forward and backwards and is lightning fast when you need accounting information, proving to be an awesome value to Catalyst and our clients.
Digital Designer
Jude is the digital designer at Catalyst. The title really doesn’t do him justice. He’s the guy who not only understands all that web code, but can amaze our clients with his graphic design skills too. Jude also worked in production, which makes him efficient when designing because he understands the end product in mind.
Special Projects
Kim has been with Catalyst from the beginning, which has provided her the opportunity to utilize her Commercial and Fine Arts degree to the fullest and then some. From design consultation and production to an occasional stint as food stylist, to assisting in the distillery, and she also coordinates Catalyst special projects and events just to mention a few of her many hats! She’s always there to help Catalyst be its best.
Special Projects
Harley is the owner of Blush Beauty Boutique but also is always on call for help at Catalyst when we need another set of hands and eyes. She is super creative and jumps in on brainstorming projects and knows the ins and outs of the production line at the distillery. With her experience on the account services team for Catalyst you can always count on Harley to help get the job done.
Plant Manager
Jim is Catalyst Distilling and Bottling’s plant manager with years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing facilities. His attention to detail and leadership in processes is key for keeping production moving efficiently and with the utmost quality assurance.
Operations Manager
Jamie is Catalyst Distilling and Bottling’s operations manager. She’s worked in several areas at Catalyst, like research, regulations, formula development, and distribution, so she’s well rounded to ensure projects run smoothly and our clients are happy.
Head Meadologist & Bottling Manager
Nate is the head meadologist and bottling manager for Catalyst Distilling and Bottling. He’s equal parts mixologist and quality control. Nate started off by creating the line of products for Mad Horn Meadery and now oversees all the bottling processes in the distillery.
Project Coordinator
Leah is our project coordinator at Catalyst. She is the go-to gal for firing up the formulas in MS excel, managing a tasting event, and anything in between. She keeps a radar on all-things-Catalyst to ensure everything is covered.
We didn’t become experts in the Food + Beverage, Finance and Manufacturing industries overnight. The journey was purposeful. Through proactive communication, unbelievably quick turnaround and a deep understanding of the industries – we have consistently completed projects on track, on time and on budget. Our approach to each project includes listening and learning, analyzing, strategizing, creating, implementing, measuring and refining. This process allows us to grow brands in a real and measurable way.
